We had a group seminar and enjoyed our chemistry with Professor J. Ichikawa!  

“Dr.” Toshiya Fukunaga has finally received his certificate of his Ph.D. degree. Congratulations!!! For his contribution, he got the 4p1A orbital of the Isobe group! On May 1st, we also celebrated the 18th anniversary of the group and “something special” to be announced in the future (with some guests)!

We visited “Dr. Ritter” at Yanaka and had a lunch under beautiful cherry blossoms (Sakura).

“Dr.” Seungmin Yang and “Dr.” Misato Akiyoshi have successfully finished the Ph.D. defense. Congratulations!!! They received the 3d2B and 4p0 orbitals of our group (15th and 16th Ph.D.).

Professor Hiroyuki Isobe delivered the IOCB Invited Lecture at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB) of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

We had a group seminar (TENGU seminar) at Mt. Takao. We enjoyed an excellent time of chemistry and fire ritual.
